Overview
BestErgonomicChairs compares office and work-from-home chairs using published specifications: lumbar support, materials, weight capacity, armrests, recline, seat height, and warranty. We list the wording from the spec sheet. We do not invent measurements, and we do not treat or diagnose pain.
Where specs come from
Each chair is matched to a brand and model (and an Amazon ASIN when present). Sources are preferred in this order:
- Manufacturer specification sheets and user manuals
- Official brand product pages
- Retailer listings, used only when they name the same model
Conflicting numbers keep the manufacturer value when it is specific to the same model variant. Fields we cannot verify are left blank rather than guessed.
Category guides
The back-pain guide includes chairs whose lumbar text contains adjust, 3D, 4D, or adaptive, or whose adjustments list lumbar support. This is not medical advice.
The tall-users guide includes chairs listed as tall or big-and-tall, or with a published weight capacity of 350 lb or more, or a seat-height maximum of 21 in or more. We do not claim a height cutoff such as 6'2" unless a product spec says so.
The mesh guide includes chairs whose materials, backrest type, or seat material contains mesh.
How recommended chairs are ordered
